PLANNING YOUR WEDDING
Your wedding should be as stress free as possible and we have put together below some ideas and suggestions to start you off. If you have any other questions or would like to come and view the venue then please ring Katharine on 01953483318 or email her on email@example.com
Find a venue
We recommend looking at least 3 venues and carefully comparing them. Each venue will offer something different and varying levels of staffing. It is very important to feel comfortable with the venue and any staff they have. Here at College Farm the only staff is Katharine and that is who you will deal with and she will be the person who meets you and shows you round.
Confirm Your Date with the Registrar
Once you have chosen your venue it is important to confirm your date and the registrar. Civil Wedding Ceremonies are conducted by Norfolk County Council Registrars and College Farm is licensed by Norfolk County Council and has a Wedding and Civil Partnership License. The bride & groom are responsible for booking the Registrar and we recommend you speak to them to check their availability before confirming with your venue. You can find out more about the Civil Ceremony booking & fees at http://www.marryinnorfolk.co.uk/ E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Tel: 01603.215.131
We are happy to pencil a date in the diary for your wedding while you check with the registrar if they are available. Once the registrar has confirmed your date & time we will then ask for a deposit to secure your booking and ask you both to sign our Wedding Agreement. Once we have received the deposit and signed Agreement your booking is secure.
The Fun Stuff!
Now you have your date, venue & registrar booked you can concentrate on the fun stuff!
At College Farm the booking fee includes our lawns, the walled garden, parking & camping fields, licensed ceremony room, 3 double bedrooms for the night before & night of the wedding and 2 yard skip for rubbish.
You will need to book the marquee, toilets, generator and anything else you need. We have a list of recommended suppliers and lots of advice & experience to help you plan the perfect day.
We strongly urge you to make a budget and stick to it. The most important thing is to get married because you love each other and not because you want to have a bigger & better wedding than all your friends. Some of the cheapest & simplest weddings are the best and it is not worth getting into debt for a wedding.
