COLLEGE FARM WEDDINGS

A SPECIAL PLACE TO GET MARRIED

We only hold a few weddings a year here at College Farm, making sure it remains a special place to get married.

The whole idea of getting married at College Farm is to make your wedding unique: we offer the setting and leave you to design the rest. We have a list of recommended local suppliers - everything from caterers to florists, dressmakers, hairdressers and wedding planners - but you are of course welcome to use your own. We are entirely flexible; our beautiful Jacobean panelled dining room is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies, but you may wish to do all the formalities in your own registry office or church - and then hold the reception at College Farm. We have a friendly herd of llamas and alpacas too - who are all too happy to provide wonderful photo opportunities and add something unique to your special day!

We would love to help you plan your wedding. Come and visit!

*COVID-19 UPDATE - SMALL WEDDINGS*

In light of the events of the past few months, we understand that many couples’ may now be thinking about holding a small, intimate wedding. We are delighted to be able to offer private, socially distanced weddings in a safe and secure environment. College Farm is a private house and you will have the grounds to yourself: we have 15 acres of gardens, fields, ponds, and woodlands for your and your guests to enjoy. Do get in touch if you would like to discuss holding  a small wedding here - with no minimum number of guests.
Wedding ceremonies of up to 30 people are allowed now and we are also open for wedding viewings.

We can’t wait to see you all soon!

Government advice: Can weddings go ahead?

Yes, from 4 July, weddings and civil partnerships will be allowed to take place. You should only invite close friends and family, up to a maximum of 30 people. The wedding exception is for wedding ceremonies only. Large wedding receptions or parties should of course not be taking place. Wedding celebrations can only happen when people follow the guidance of six people outdoors, support bubbles, or two households indoors or outdoors. It is critical for these guidelines to be observed to keep you and your family and friends as safe as possible.
